Subject: Golaith Blitz 1.0 Winboard edition... not very good results.

I was recently sent the winboard version of this program. And I must say thus
far I am very displeased. Using it via Winboard in ICS play it has dropped
roughly 300 points in blitz, 230 points in lightning games, and 80 in standard
games. There have been about 530 games played thus far.

I am using an Athlon XP 2000+, 256 m hash tables, and the program still does not
use tablebases. This has been the cause of many losses I have seen. The account
runs mostly unattended, so I don't watch most games.

The account used to use Crafty and maintained a rating of 2650 on FICS, but
since switching to Goliath is has dropped below 2400 and stays there.

Replaying the games in the Chess Academy interface it plays much different, and
much stronger. I only purchased the product to get the Winboard edition as that
is by far my favorite interface. In the CA interface the program chooses much
better moves at the same time control.

Does anyone else have this version, and have the same problem?

Most of my opponents have been either Yace or Crafty clones.
