Subject: ChessBase hash formula opinions?

setting hash in a chessbase product.

this formula is posted at the chessbase site to be used as a standard
for the chessbase products. do most here agree with this?
I have read comments from Chris that he was not concerned running high
amounts of hash with Chess Tiger. It is easy to see with the fritzmark
test how the kns fall off with each increase in hash setting.
But i was wondering if most here agreed with this formula.

HT[KB] = 2.0 * PFreq[MHz] * t[s]

Hash table size (in kilobytes) is equal to 2 times your processor speed (in
megahertz) times the average number of seconds the engine will analyze a move

2000mhz 2 seconds per move 8 megs hash

2000mhz 5 seconds per move 20 megs hash

2000mhz 30 seconds per move 120 megs hash

2000mhz 1 minute per move 240 megs hash

2000mhz 5 minute per move 1200 megs hash
