HT[KB] = 2.0 * PFreq[MHz] * t[s] Hi! I have a little problem. As for as I know know this formula is valid for Fritz5 (there this formula was published first in the German handbook). Ok, Fritz5 is doing about 600nps on my PC. Some programs (GoliathLight, Junior7) are doing a lot more of nps while others (Tiger, Hiarcs) are doing less. My conclusion (maybe right, maybe wrong; I send it for discussion): If they calculate less nodes/second they need less hash because they have less informations to store. So Hiarcs7.32 would need only about 1/8 of the hash Fritz5 needs and GoliathLight needs about the double. If my opinion would be right the formula above would only be correct for Fritz5. I would be interested to discuss about it. Peter
