I have tried some dozens combos when I believed it would make some difference, but sincerely I could not sense any positive difference at all in the engine performance under ultra-elaborated parameters, that could not also be due to the opponent's weaknesses or simply to chance. The only robust change that may occur is, if you sharply alter the relative piece values, getting biased evaluations +-(x.y); to some combos you may even read a winning evaluation for a game you will be losing instead.
