I just have to add that it was funny watching the audience reaction to this move
on ICC.  d5 appeared, and many people complained that it was a move transmission
error!  :)

Apparently Adams has a clear draw if he just ignores the rook:

I'd be surprised if any computer can find Kasparov's idea.  If I feed the first
few moves of the game continuation into Tiger it doesn't understand the danger
for Black.
