Yesterday I received an Email by a CCC member saying that after he saw my pieces settings for Fritz7 he decided to make a small adjustment to my settings and tested it using almost two identical computers an AMD Athlon 800 Mhz and an AMD Duron 850 Mhz. his settings according to him is based on making the value of the knight a fraction less than three pawns, but his bishop value a little bit higher than three pawns. I Have been testings my setting of Fritz 7 on two different AMD computers and my settings is scoring a little bit higher. AMD Athlon 800 Mhz Settings: AMD Duron 850 Mhz Settings: Contemp value = 15 Contemp value = 15 Selectivity = 2 Selectivity = 2 Tablebase depth = 3 Tablebase dep = 3 Futility Pruning = On Futility Pruning = On Aggressiveness = 2 Aggressiveness = 2 Value Computer Queen = 95 Value Computer Queen = 95 Value Computer Rook = 50 Value Computer Rook = 50 Value Computer Bishop = 33 Value Computer Bishop = 31 Value Computer Knight = 32 Value Computer Knight = 29 Value Computer pawn = 10 Value Computer pawn = 10 On the left he used my previous settings and on the right he used his new settings after a small match of 30 games at G/15 his setting won by 3.5 games according to him. I will test his setting against shredder 6.0 using standard SSDF time control. Jorge
