In response to the many and bitter emails I have received for not providing
ftp access, I now have an ftp version of the site. Beware! These files are
huge in size and will possibly take a long time to download. In particular,
the CDB files may be of little use to you if you do not have at least 128
megs of memory available. The PGN files are probably more generally useful.
The ftp site is located at:

if you prefer. I have added a new file called “hotties.” If you are hoping
for pictures of naked persons you will be disappointed ;-) . If you are
looking for some interesting opening lines, you might be interested. The
CDB version, in particular, is small enough to be loaded on any reasonable
PC [in contrast to the larger generic files].
