I have seen the Chess Mentor demo, and it is probably a good representation of
the entire product line. The interface is a bit odd, and there is no audio, but
it did seem like a good learning tool. I suggest getting the demo, which should
allow you to make up your mind about that product, at least. (surprisingly
enough, they got lucky with their URL -- www.chess.com).

I have no experience with ChessBlaster, but one of the tag lines on their
website ("Use it and you'll be able to actually beat a rated chessmaster!")
seems a bit silly to me.
