He has been concentrating on his Tai Chi training, and, amazingly enough, he has won two world championships within the past six months (The Tai Chi world is similar to the boxing world, in that there are multiple federations that have "Champions" -- he is currently the world champion of two federations, in multiple styles/weight classes.) However, he feels that his Tai Chi training has actually made him a better chess player, and that he does plan to return to tournament chess sometime in the future. jm
