or maybe he offered a draw because that's what the sponsors wanted him to do? as
uri says, his comment "the position was equal, so i offered a draw", is pretty
revealing. if you look at the position you see that it's true, but it's
far from played out against a very much inferior opponent. in my opinion, he did
this to keep the sponsors of this match happy. like: "world champion beats
kid 4-0" - will this make headlines? no way. but "english kid sets world record
and wins the einstein trophy", now, that will stand in the newspapers.
