While by other opponents the time between issue of versions were longer (Shredder/Junior/Tiger about one year) came Fritz versions nearly monthly! Therefore I took the first edition of Fritz 6. Also it was said: The Fritz7 noMMX edition is nearer to Fritz 6c than to Fritz 7! So I think it was o.k. to start with Fritz6 OLD on board 3! Regards Franz Wiesenecker
