As I have written already below, the german ChessBase website writes that the
king safety evaluation and the general tactical behaviour has been improved.

Btw. I wouldn't recommend testing the differences by playing matches between
these two engines. 55-45 tells nothing. Better to play - many games - against
other opponents each, but from the *same opening positions* (IOW use Nunn or
Noomen opening databases).

If you play i.e. Fritz 7.0.0.6 versus *itself* (and assigning "A" to white in
all even numbered games, and to black in all uneven numbered games), you also
won't get exactly 5-5 for A vs. B. It could be for example 4.5-5.5 for identical
engines, or 6-4. If alternating white/black wins occur in a 10 games match (may
happen then and when; it's not too unlikely with equal engines), this experiment
would turn out 10-0. Which doesnt mean Fritz 7.0.0.6 is so much stronger than
itself. :o)
