Yes, I would think your Chess Challenger 7 would have 7 levels. I had the CC 10,
with (get this), TEN levels. :-)

I don't know of any particular "mate without checks or captures" suite, but my
CC 10 found all mates I tested it on IF YOU GAVE IT ENOUGH T-I-M-E. <yawn!>

I suspect you'll have to ferret out the mate problems that fit your specific
needs. Shouldn't be too hard with all the mate probs around.
