You sometimes can get slapped down from no fault of your own. I’m not sure how a programmer can talk about his product and R&D without some interpreting it as some kind of marketing. I admit, I’m bias because I have been a fan of your programs for years, and still play your Chess Machine program even today. I’m sure even when Bob talks about Crafty and all the things he has done with it; most of us like to hear it. (I do) If Bob now sold Crafty instead of giving it away for free, would Bob have to change the way he talks to this group about his program, and cut down on the many threads that deal with his program? I hope not.
