For example new versions of Fritz were always tested very late, because Chessbase declined to send any free copies to Sweden. I remember around the first versions of Fritz how long it took until Chessbase could be talked into shipping any to Sweden, and how often I reminded them in the old days when Mr Jacoby was in charge. I also want to inform you that Thoralf just bought a CS Tal here for his own money a few days ago. In the past we sometimes sent free programs to the Swedes, sometimes we sent for special prices. But please, why should Gambit-Soft send free CS Tal to Sweden when the manufacturer Oxford Softworks does nothing? If a software programmer or company wants a program tested they could send a free copy themselves, and not complain afterwards. Bert /gambitsoft.com
