Hmm, will look up what is necessary to enable logfile, certainly in the
wb2uci.eng some entry "log(file)=true" or so...

This will be in the logfile I suppose...

I have seen a game where TheKing used the time but suddenly moved much too fast
(<60sec), calculating 1-2 plys lower than before. Look here (new adapter!):

King usually gets to 10-11 plys and takes some time to reach it. King only moves
instantly when this depth is reached within pondering. But look here. Move 17:
5min/11 (time/ply)
Move 21: 6min/12
Move 25: 4.5min/10 and then ther is a break. From move 26 on King moves MUCH
faster:
#26: 20sec/9
#27: 2min/9
#28: 54sec/8
#29: 8min/9 !
#30: 6.5min/9 !
#31: 7.5min/8 !
#32: 2min/8
#33: 3min/8
#34: 5min/8

Usually King reaches 8-9 ply very quickly under 1min. Don't know why it takes
several minutes to reach that depth in some positions. I have no screensaver or
so running which could steal som CPU cycles.
Hopefully I will have some time to investigate this behaviour at the weekend.

Ya, job can be nerving. ;-)
