In 1989, here Karpov played RxN, and went on to win! About six years ago, my Hiarcs4 program found it at only 2 ply, but does not stay there... it soon changes the move to something else... (I read in an old CCReports issue that for a program to get credit, it must find the move and stay there...:-) Maybe today, some of the newer programs will find it and not change to something else...etc. [D]3r2k1/Q4pp1/1p3q2/7p/3N2b1/P3P1P1/1P6/2R1K3 b - - Maybe RXN is not the best move here, but it sure has the most charm and beauty to it, I think...
