That worked! The patch is not perfect, but it lets one move the pieces around, use the engine, and play a game. If anyone else trys to download this patch, the link is not correct. The webpage link points to gambitsoft.com. The correct domain is gambitsoft.net. I suggest using a ftp utility to get the patch. My thanks also to the other posters for your comments/suggestions.
