What errors, linking problems? -S. It says that his variables are not legaly defined and some of his jumps are not possible. I really can not figure out what is going on. I have been using the Dos version 3.0 but I don't think that it should matter as it is still C++. It creats all of .OBJ files, but all contain error messages as mentioned above. Unless someone has some kind of suggestion, I guess I will just have to wait until I can figure it out, even though I don't program in "C" yet. I will solve the problem someday, I hope. My chess program was entered in CCT4 and even though it is written in Qbasic, it still has potential. I just think that it would be much faster if written in "C". Thank for any help or suggestions that you may give. Bill
