Is deepblue 100 elo or above deepfritz on an xp 2000 <snip> Yes, you will only get opinions. I heard a figure of 2800 elo for Deep Blue, can't remember where. That would make it more than 100 points ahead of deepfritz. But, of course, DB did'nt play enough games to get an accurate figure. DeepBlue was running on very expensive hardware that would have had to be rented for the games. DB did'nt do a selective search either, don't know why.
