Out of curiosity if anyone were to sit down in front of say 8 PC's each one loaded with some iteration of Crafty versions 11 - 18, and play several games on each machine one at a time. Would they be able to tell which one was stronger, or better yet be able to the identify which versions each PC was running? My point is as a 1800+ level player, I can't tell the difference in strength between version 11 to version 18, they each beat me just as easily :( I guess the same comparison would be the different versions of Chessmaster.
