During some chess studying I found this position: [D]r1nq3k/1pp1br1p/4p1p1/pPPpPp1B/Pn1P1P2/2N1B3/5P1P/1R1Q2RK w - - It's a fairly linear solution: 1.Rxg6 hxg6 2.Bxg6 Qg8 3.Qh5+ Rh7 4.Bxh7 Qxh7 5.Qe8+ Qg8 6.Qd7 and black is in dire trouble. The crafty part is that a program using a large king safety bonus will probably go for the not nearly as convincing 1. Bxg6 in the beginning. But OTOH, a program evaluating the position as worse for white at smaller plies. Might go for the sac to secure a draw. So drawing scores are not convincing. I need to see some positive eval.
