 Whether the top software you mention is, say,

Fritz 7 - Chess Tiger 14- Shredder 6- Gandalf 5- Junior 7-

(to which one could maybe add some other like Nimzo 8, Hiarcs 7.32, Chessmaster
8000, even some superb freeware engines running under Winboard)

 the result hardly will be 2 out of 6. A more likely outcome is 2 out of
sixteen.
