Hi John:
Shredder 6 comes with two different interfaces on the one cd. The main interface
(that is installed automatically) is the same interface as comes on the Fritz 7
interface. The interfaces are identical in fuction, options, etc. The second
interface called the "classic" interface is the one that uses the "triple
brain." All that means is that you can have two engines analysing a move at the
same time. Then the "brain" decides which of the engines has the better move and
picks it. The "Classic" interface also has some interesting ways to help study
endgames.

Also, I know of no chess review out thus

Personally I would purchase Shredder 6 over Fritz 7. (( Originally I was going
to buy fritz 7 for one reason: The author of Fritz often puts out updates to his
engine a few times before the next major version comes out (i.e. their were
several fritz 6 engines put out). Fritz 7 already has had some engine
updates... but the author of Shredder 6 also seems to be putting out updates
before the next major upgrade....))
