Subject: Help!! Chessmaster8k will not tolerate outside music.

Hi guys,
  I have the equivalent of a wave-player playing (Brainwave Generator to be
explicit) and when I try to start CM8k the message is.

"A fatal error occurred initializing Sound playback.
The program will now terminate."

Also if I start CM8k & then start the wave-player, CM8k immediatly crashes.

Does anybody know of a way to start CM8k so it will not attempt to "initializing
Sound playback".

A simple -s or something in the windows shortcut would be ideal for me.
