Yes Gulko blundered and that is exactly why humans lose chess games, they make many mistakes that computers will never make, the humans strategical understanding does not make up for the frequency of their tactical blunders. One can also ask if the draw was so easy, why didn't 2600 elo Veteran G.M. Gulko draw????
