Subject: Question to Dann Corbit

I was looking at the epd files at your ftp and as many epd strings have errors i
wonder how many are out there? Are there any plans to fix those files?

I did find one
2rq1rk1/pb3p1p/1p2pbp1/3p3R/2PP4/PP5R/1B3PPP/3Q1BK1 b - - bm cxd4; id "WM-Test
Extra 47) ...c5xd4";

this should be dxc4!

There are quite a few in AEMIS and COVAX as well and ECE and ECM but those are
more because the analysis is wrong than the actual epd string.

Lastly i wanted to gather the new files you posted but i have a question about
some older ones namely bench3 and mega as well as a couple others are just
combinations of many sets put together some files have an *.*xtd extension ,
what are these and of the C.A.P positions how do i tell which ones are or aren't
solved.

the readme from the acopolypse file says that crafty has a function that points
unsolved positions out is there another way? Pardon me for my lack of
coherency i am a little tired.

thankyou
