I made my prediction early on and started with the guess that Anand would win the two slow games. Then I went with 1-1 for the medium control and finally 3-1 for Rebel in the blitz portion of the 8 game match. As much as I appreciate the efforts of Ed and all the programmers my heart always is pulled towards cheering for the GM. I read recently an article from RGCC on Anand's thoughts on playing computers. Some hi-lights from my read were: 1. He finds playing them a challenge 2. He enjoys when he wins his games against them I wonder what his assessment of how strong these programs of today are? I could only infer from his above two comments that he thinks they are quite strong.
