I wonder if such eventual perfection got at so big expenditure of time has sense. Chess is and must be played in the realm of decent use of time. It is in it's nature. With almost infinite time - say, a month per move- even me could play perfect chess, but then it is not chess anymore. On the contrary, I tend to think that perfection or mastery of anything is asociated to some kind of facility, lack of effort and little expediture of time. I would call "perfect program" one capable of playing great moves at almost no time or at most some seconds. Just my humble cent fernando
