In the popular "celebrate our differences!" mentality, this is correct. With computer chess, however, it's possible that a particular method is seriously flawed. I want to think hard about how to do piece lists before I invest a lot of work in a new program and realize that it was flawed from the outset. If the people on this message board can help find flaws, so much the better. Cheers, Tom
