I wanted to reply to posts here about the results of tiger in other tournaments
that some have run here. I played some of those games out and did not like what
i was seeing with my tiger as I played through the games. I chose to not post my
results of some tiger game results in other tournaments that were posted here by
someone other than Sarah and Jonas. also I was upset when after finding out some
of this information, I saw Uri quote one of these tournament results with a
program that had finished high on the list. I played through this same program
games and I had several issues with the results, me using same program.

After talking to Sarah a few times, I get the impression that her tournaments
are professionally managed. She has very good program knowledge, software
knowledge, and most importantly is particular and honest. (difficult to tell on
the internet---but that is the impression I get)

Having come to the above conclusions, then I do not understand why some here
have post with tiger very low in their tournaments.

My personal conclusion: difficult for me to believe any tournament results
posted here other than Sarah's and Jonas's tournaments.

And another thing, I have noticed this also with Shredder results in tournaments
posted here. Some will have Shredder at the top and others will have Shredder
close to the bottom of their list.

Tiger and Shredder: getting conflicting tournament results of program strength.

I know some of these are different game times. Blitz, lightning, standard, etc.
I was comparing same game times. and please dont tell me you have to have play
938.2 games to draw any conclusions.

another personal conclusion: If I run a tournament and my results are very
different than Sarah's----I will not post the results. I will look for software
problems, ram problems with memory hogs, cpu problems with cpu hogs, ponder on
issues, pc connection issues, etc.
