The Hammer is indeed the most important thing to happen since the 1Ghz race between AMD and Intel, but Unfortunately it will not be available for the Kramnik-Deep Fritz match. The 4-8 way 1.6Ghz Pentium4 will be. It has SMT so if a program is properly programmed wouldn't it be able to use this as well as the SMP? then you could essentially have a Quad that acts like an 8-way or an 8-way that act's like a 16cpu monster? Also i tried to find out about the 8way apparently it is supposed to attatch somehow onto the quad but i didn't see this at IBM.com so maybe someon can clear this up as well. Maybe some of the programmers in here can clear this up.
