Yes, I understand what you are saying, but I do not think computors are programed to "make a plan"..etc. They make each move with an "eye" on the current evaluation of the position.. In your last test position, Bc3 is just as good as playing h4, then Bh3,,etc If there is no real increase in the evaluation, it will not see any reason to move the bishop from g2 to h3, etc... etc. And yet, inspite of this, today computors are playing very very strong positional games, I think...(without making a plan)... ab
