Arena runs on Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0 or a higher version. Arena is compatible to WinBoard protocol by Tim Mann (USA) and UCI protocol by SOS programmer Rudolf Huber and Shredder's programmer Stefan Meyer-Kahlen (Germany). SOS and Shredder are chess engines. UCI and WinBoard are engine protocols for chess engines! Arena is Freeware!
