Nothing extraordinary there. >Just a few years ago, when I was in better form I was beating strong programmes >at blitz, G/5 and I'm not a GM. Few years ago programs were clearly weaker than their level today but even at that time programs were better than GM's at blitz and Fritz3(p90) won a blitz tournament together with kasparov and only lost against kasparov in a special match for the first place. You can say that they did not know Fritz3's weaknesses but I believe that even at that time Fritz3 could beat almost every GM in a serious blitz match when the program does not play more than 2 games per day(white and black) and the programmer has the right to change the program every day. I believe that no human today can get even 25% against Junior and Fritz on good hardware if the match is done in the following way: 1)Every day the human play 4 blitz games of 6 minutes per game(2 games against Fritz and 2 games against Junior). 2)The programmers of Junior and Fritz have the right to update their program every day between games.
