To understan how 'new' their paradigm is one need only recall the Z-code and the Inform language. Infocom made it for highly portable games. And even earlier, the IBM multiuser mainframes. I was an early adopter of Java. Friends of mine use Java at work. One even works for Sun. But I still can't shake the negative vibes I get. MvH Dan Andersson
