I don't know for sure which is stronger and I might be the only one here who
doesn't care if Gambit Tiger can beat Shredder or Fritz or Chessmaster.

But Gambit Tiger is for me the most fun to play against. Nothing else is even
close. Ed's program is a distant second, but I don't like the DOS interface and
hope Ed can switch over to Windows. One thing I like about Ed's program is that
I can set up illegal positions, like play with three knights and one bishop or
whatever.

Christophe, I wish this were a serious question:

Do you think you--or anybody--will ever get around to making a program that
plays like Capablanca? I replayed a couple games last night and was knocked
over by the beauty of some of his moves and series of moves.

If I knew how to post diagrams, I'd post a couple in case somebody here had some
extra time and could see if any programs could find these moves.
