Joshua, Bus speed plays a big role in performance. You will see a larger increase in NPS with a higher bus speed than just an increase in cpu speed. For example, 150mhz fsb x 12 (cpu multiplier)=1800mhz and 144fsb x 12.5 (cpu multiplier) also equals 1800mhz. Even though both are 1800mhz, the 150fsb configuration will outperform the other by roughly 50 nps.
