I was not aware that all programs could do this,I possess only one PC Chess program, the rest are dedicated chess computers of various vintages. But what I meant is there a program that starting from a clear board position could create,in real time,an actual chess problem to solve by the user, and finally provide the solution if necessary. The user would request say a M/5 or endgame problem to be generated, and the program would produce this, checking for cooks etc, before presenting it for evaluation.Essentially each problem would be unique. I shall have to check out some of the latest software. Thanks. Trefor.
