Hi Bertil,

BTW:

What is your opinion about Gandalf 5 compare to Gandalf 4?

I believe that Gandalf 4 playing more aggressive better more spekulative /
aggressive, but I have not saw enough games. It's nice to see that Gandalf 4.32
stand in SSDF now with better hardware on the right place. In the time where I
played my first games with Gandalf on Dual Pentium III 733MHz I have very strong
results against the first Fritz 6 versions, and all other top programs (Junior
7, Shredder 6, Fritz 7, Tiger 14 are not on the market). So I say to this time
that Gandalf is maybe the best program in the world (not in endgame) and for
analyses for me to 100% the best program (not in endgame).

At the moment the results are clear.
Junior 7 is better with longer time controls, Fritz, Tiger and Shredder are
playing on the same level. Maybe The King and the newer Rebel. Gandalf 4.x is
not in the group but better compare to Nimzo, Hiarcs ...

Nice on Gandalf is the playing style.
I love this playing style, the most short games against other top programs in my
tournaments with middelgame king attacks.

Now we are looking to Steen, maybe we get a Gandalf 5.2 version or 5.3 version
which is stronger and played compare to Gandalf 4.x more aggressive.

Best
Frank
