You're asking permission?!

Why are you asking this question?

GM Gulko's games against Fritz, Shredder, HIARCS, and Junior were on the up and
up, that's obvious with the T/C's and the score:) They were also casual, not
serious games.

Why would he throw games? There would be no money in that.

Should they count on a list computers vs. humans? No, as the match was not
serious, and was a promotion for Chessbase Products.

All this match says is that top programmes on top hardware can give a 2600
player a real good fight, win lose or draw. Remember he's also 54 so it's
even harder for Gulko then it would have been 20 or even 10 years ago.

Chessbase would like you to buy these programmes believing you're purchasing
GM's on a CD, regardless of hardware!:)

It's marketing, nothing more, nothing less. Gulko gets paid for his advertising
time (The Match), Chessbase sells more products, they make money and of course
the programmers make money, that's what it was all about in the first place.

Terry *Yawn*....It's boring explaining the obvious.
