games? I believe that it is a draw but I remember that chessmaster could blunder in the ssdf games in KRPPP vs KRPPP on the same side so I am not sure that it is a draw in comp-comp games. [D]5rk1/6pp/8/8/8/8/5PPP/5RK1 w - - 0 1 Can you try a tournament between the top programs at 1 minute/40 moves and at 40 minutes/40 moves?(you can use all the commercial in the ssdf and yace and crafty and maybe some other amatiers like comet or delfi). My prediction is that white is going to score better at 1 minute/40 moves. If my prediction is correct then it means that it is better for program to have an evaluation function that is dependent on the time control and to evaluate the score of the position as closer to 0.00 at longer time control.
