A typo? Or is there really a mate in 6? If yes, this would probably indicate
some serious bug in my engine. I don't have the relevant TBs, but it should not
matter. BTW. Yace thinks, the 3rd best move is Bf1, with mate in 10. But here
the search depth is not be enough yet, to guarantee, that there is no other
shorter mate.
1. Bf1 Kg8 2. Kf6 h6 3. Ke7 Kh7 4. Kf7 Kh8 5.
Kf8 Kh7 6. Bd3+ Kh8 7. Nf6 h5 8. Ne8 h4 9. Nd6
h3 10. Nf7# {610}
After Bf5, I get a mate of the same length:
1...h6+ 2. Kf6 Kg8 3. Be6+ Kh8 4. Kf7 Kh7 5.
Bf5+ Kh8 6. Nf4 h5 7. Kf8 h4 8. Nd3 h3 9. Ne5
h2 10. Nf7# {-610}

Dieter
