This time control is pretty close to the new FIDE standard. I think that this time control is reasonable. Bear in mind that Deep Junior participated in the KasparovChess.com grand prix together with Kasparov, Adams, Svidler, Morozevich etc. under a 60 minutes no increment time control. No objections were raised to this.. Many professionals believe that in order to prove themselves versus programs the actual time control is not crucial."
