Don has volunteered MIT as a site to host the event. But it requires ICCA
sponsorship which (in the past) has meant > $30,000 in sponsor money. I doubt
this is going to happen again. What we might end up with is a PWCCC (psuedo-
world computer chess championship) not sanctioned by the ICCA and not funded
by anyone. It would still be fun, and competitive, but it would be a "bring
your machine and yourself at your own expense" event like every other tournament
I have participated in personally. :)
