Doesn't change the fact that few have a dual system. And that sole fact make it a real gamble to spend the time needed to get a good SMP program running. The conversion is a one shot deal. You get the higher performance only once. And you risk getting overtaken by other programmers. And if you don't feel you will sell many extra copies. Why do it? Unless you are really stumped and don't have any idea of how to improve your program. The only real motivation might be a shot at winning the world championship. But how much higher will your chances be SMP or not? MvH Dan Andersson
