We'll I do loads of number floating point crunching in my work so I'm as interested in FP as integer. I think it's also to do with what people can relate to. When they see a Q3 demo they see lots of action and a screen that clearly shows that there is significant amount of number crunching going on behind the scenes. However when they see a FritzMark they just see a node count, PV and depth of search - much less dramatic. IMO they just find chess much less appealing than watching mythical creatures blow each other up!! Regards, Steve
