The most minimal GUI, just for solving a single orthodox mate, would perhaps
have you run the program, paste an EPD string into an edit field, maybe choose a
radio button or two, and click a "Solve" button. It would show its thinking in
a scrollable window.

I'd think this would be very easy to implement in VB (or Delphi or whatever) and
would make this great tool more accessible to more people with minimal effort.

Does that make sense?

Separate question: using the Windows Chest as it stands today, what's the
absolute quickest way to go from having an EPD in the clipboard to having a
Chest solution to the corresponding puzzle?
