This is going to be true 3D using Direct3D v8.1, resizeable and rotateable (sp?) on-the-fly. However, this only refers to the boards and pieces. CM9000 is not going to be similar to other games in that it takes over the entire screen; it is still going to be a Windows application. Also, for those who prefer the older 2D method (or do not have powerful enough video cards), CM9000 will still have it as well. jm
