It is hardly believable, but 'litte' ChessTiger14.9 defeated the German program
Doctor?3.0 running on a much faster hardware. Below the commented game. I like
my Chess Tiger 14.9 for Palm (33 MHz) very much and it's a pleasure to play
games with this program on my slow handheld.

Chess Tiger 14.9 for Palm has so far played in accordance with the book used
by Doctor? 3.0.} 19... f5 {Black last book move} 20. a4 bxa4 21. Rxa4 Rc2 22.
Rc1 Rxe2 {A possible but not the best solution. Black should rather exchange
rooks and protect his attacked a6-pawn. The way Doctor?3.0 is dealing with the
position allows White to obtain the more active pieces.} 23. Rc6 Rb8 24. Kf1

tries to obtain counterplay against white's king.} 37. Ne3 {A strong reply.}
37... Rh2+ 38. Kg1 Rbh8 39. Nxd5+ exd5 40. Nd3 Rd2 41. Nf4 {
Another try was 41.Rxe7 Rxd3 32.Rf7 followed by Rxg7+} 41... Rc8 42. Nxd5+ {
ChessTiger14.9 is a pawn up but the endgame is difficult to win.} 42... Kg5 43.
Rac7 Rxc7 {A better defence was 43...Ra8} 44. Nxc7 Kf6 45. d5 Kf7 46. b4 Rd4
47. b5 Rb4 48. f4 Rb1+ {Black misses the opportunity to cut off white's king
on the second rank by ...Rb2.} 49. Kf2 Rb3 50. Kg2 Rb1 51. Kf3 Rb3+ 52. Ke2 {
I already wanted to say that this would be a remarkable idea. But the next
moves prove that 52.Ke2 was not executed with the correct plan to wander with
the king to the queenside.} 52... g6 53. Kf2 Rb2+ 54. Kf1 Rb3 55. Ke2 {
Interesting: has ChessTiger14.9 noticed that otherwise it cannot make any
further progress?} 55... Rxg3 56. Ne6 Rg2+ {Black does not good in driving
white's king voluntarily to the queenside. To prefer was 56...Ke8} 57. Kd3 Rb2
58. Rb7 Rb3+ {Again a bad move of Doctor?3.0 instead of the logical ...Ke8} 59.
Kd4 {Even stronger was 59.Kc2} 59... Rb1 60. b6 Kf6 {Doctor?3.0 does not
understand the position, otherwise the program would have moved his king to e8.
} 61. Rb8 Rd1+ 62. Kc4 {
And here, ChessTiger14.9 showed the winning evaluation of +2.16.} 62... Rb1 63.

White has now a won game and gives his opponent not the slightest chance.}
